Indicted Winkler County Gang Booked Into Jail: Read Charges

WINKLER COUNTY TEXAS

On Tuesday, County Attorney Scott Tidwell, Sheriff Robert Roberts and Dr. Rolando Arafiles were all booked into the Winkler County Jail. Former Winkler County Hospital Administrator Stan Wiley  turned himself in on Wednesday. They all were released on a $7,500 bond.

This comes after they were indicted by a grand jury, charged with felony retaliation, misdemeanor official oppression and felony misuse of official information. They’re accused of trying to silence two former nurses who complained about Dr. Arafiles.

We previously published the indictment against Arafiles. Here are the charges against the rest of the county’s infamous actors:

    so for $750 (1/10th bond) they walk right out. For a felony. Wish it were so for the rest of us?
